French Vintage Marquee

This French Vintage Marquee was a collaboration with the mother of the groom based in Ireland and the Couple in the US. The design took a number of months to come together and included mood boards and fabric samples. The drinks reception marquee was an all clear structure which had an interior to look like a parlour using furniture chosen from the family home. Whiskey barrels are used as drinks tables. The table plan is small chalkboards with hand written details with chalk. The all clear marquee was linked to the main marquee. All hand made exclusive linings called 'Tack Off' in ecru with a flat roof lining and pleated walls. The Wedding marquee has glass walls and the aluminium legs are also dressed. A white carpet was used and dark gold crushed linens which 'glisten' the evening. We made long blocks of wood as the centre pieces for the rectangular tables. The flowers and scented candles were placed on these. For the toilets the Client told us to have some 'fun'. Getting to know the family we found out that the bride loved butterflies and the groom's family loved their older dogs. So we made 'baby pink' linings for the ladies restrooms with butteflies threaded into the linings along with a fairy light curtain and cushions with butterflies....Meanwhile we created 'A gentleman's club' with black suede walls and star cloth. Dog wallpaper in velvet silhouettes and cushions with dog prints were used.

"Your calm manner and an ability that down to you everything will be alright was a source of constant comfort to us during the whole process of putting together the Wedding plans. The marquees were spectacular and thanks to your Team this was all put together so professionally". Chantal (mother of the groom) Dublin.
